Fabric Guide:

Epengle: A type of Riga silk fabric whose threads seem to be wound on a needle.

Jersey: It is a silk or wool knit fabric with a flexible texture.

Tapestry: It is a patterned, compact knit, densely woven fabric in which the motif is created by using colored yarn in the warp, weft or sher both.

Silk satin: It is a fabric woven from pure silk thread used in the production of laundry and quilt face.

Denim: It is a thick fabric of 100% cotton used in making clothes. The warp thread is dyed blue indigo, and the weft thread is undyed.

Crescent: Also called squash and squirrel. It is a type of fabric made from spun raw silk. It is narrow in width because it is mostly woven on hand looms.

Gabardine: It is a fabric obtained from the frequent weaving of cotton or fine woolen fabrics. It is quite sturdy and durable. It is more water resistant than other fabrics.

Cotton: Cotton fabric is a natural fabric created by twisting the long fiber hairs that surround the seeds of the cotton plant. It is generally used to keep cool in hot climates.

Viscose: Viscose fabric is produced from beech wood. Viscose fabric has a slightly higher moisture absorption feature than cotton fabric. It is a highly preferred fabric type because it is elegant, comfortable to wear and compatible with the skin. It is recommended to wash viscose fabrics by hand in water that is not too hot.

Polyester: It is not a natural fabric. For this reason, it is a frequently preferred fabric type, even though we do not use it. Polyester fabric is a shiny, durable, slippery and lightweight fabric. Does not require ironing, does not wrinkle.

Chiffon: Since chiffon fabric has a thin fabric structure, its usage areas are quite high. Chiffon is widely used in evening dress making.

Linen: Linen is a natural fiber. Linen fabric is very durable and flexible. It doesn't feather. It is heat resistant. Since it is airy and comfortable, it should generally be preferred in summer. It is a long-lasting fabric. It has a soft texture.

Organza: Organza fabric is a very light and sheer fabric that belongs to the category of woven fabrics, originally made from silk. It has a luminous and translucent appearance. It is used to make flashy and flowing dresses.
